Langbrook Farm Cottage

We had a lovely weekend at this immaculately appointed property. Positive: Fabulous facilities, comfortable, clean and exceeded all expectations. Negative: The property has a dog that likes to come in and run around your space.

Positive: Everything about this stay was perfect. We booked the 2-bedroom cottage for our two families with young children. About a week before we arrived, I messaged the host with a few random questions, not expecting a prompt response, but Cathy replied almost immediately, and with the warmth and charm that I later learned was just part of her natural personality. Upon arrival, Cathy greeted us with a warm smile and welcomed us to her cottage. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a perfect 2-night stay. The decor was tasteful, the renovation thoughtfully done, and the attention to detail was impeccable. Being on a farm, we were amazed that the whole place was dust-free - yes, even the hard to reach trims, ledges, and GPOs. This place truly felt like a home one would want to own, with its warmth and lived-in feel. There wasn’t even a trace of that typical Airbnb smell. Cathy was also incredibly thoughtful, providing two extra beds for the little ones. It was even more considerate that we found children’s cutlery, cups, dining trays, and toys (oh so many toys!) for the kids. We really appreciated Cathy and Greg’s attention to detail. I almost forgot to mention the well-equipped cubby house in the shared area, which the girls immediately claimed it their home as soon as we arrived. Cathy, the official koala spotter, also took us on a short walk to spot the cutest koala nearby. The girls were ecstatic when they met Lottie, the resident fluffball, and I keep hearing, "Where’s Lottie now?" or "Pretend I'm Lottie, and you’re Cathy, and we’re going to find a koala." after we got home. Core memory. The cottage also has a lovely swimming pool with a BBQ area, which we plan to use when we return in the summer. How perfect would that be? All in all, we were extremely pleased with our stay, thanks to all the lovely touches and behind-the-scenes efforts of Cathy and Greg.

Lovely farm stay experience Positive: I'll start by saying that Cathy and Greg are the most welcoming and helpful hosts ever. You can just tell the dedication they've put into running everything. The cottage has a homely feel to it, a wide range of facilities and a stunning view. Shoutout to Cathy for showing us city folks around the farm, it was quite a special experience. Negative: Nothing at all!
